2009:

Signed on to have ALL Home Games Broadcast LIVE via Newark Radio Series www.newarkradioseries.com
Finished our 4th season in the ABA, by making the Elite 8 in the playoffs
Participated in the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Family Day
ABA signed a deal with NASCAR driver Danny O’QUINN to have the ABA LOGO on its Race Car and marketing material
Hired Quaasim Austin (Irvington PD), as Head Coach
ABA signed a Cable TV Deal with Versus TV www.versus.com
Announced East Orange Campus High School as our home venue

2008:

Hired Jerry “Ice” Reynolds as Head Coach (former Orlando Magic forward)
Renamed West Side Park, Newark, NJ our “Official” practice home
We are continuing our mission of becoming an intrical part of the Communities in which we play
Extended the relationship with team Orthopedic Surgeons Dr. James. Lee Sr. & Jr.

2007:

Changed name to the Jersey Express, to incorporate ALL of New Jersey
Moved the team to Drew University, Madison, NJ
Partnered with the NJ Mayor’s Wellness Campaign, in an effort to help offset childhood obesity
Partnered with several Not-for-Profit Organizations to help in the growth of our Communities
Participated in the playoffs
Lost 4 players to overseas signings

2006:

Hired Ron Moore (former Detroit Piston) as new Head Coach
Missed the playoffs
Lost 2 players to overseas signings
Partnered with renowned Orthopedic Surgeons Dr. James M. Lee Sr. & Jr. “Official Physicians”
Participated in the Singapore Invitational Tournament

2005:

Purchased the NJ territory and launched the Newark Express
Darryl “Chocolate Thunder” Dawkins -1st Head Coach of the franchise
Commissioned Newark’s team, and added to the City’s website as a destination
BOMBO Sports & Entertainment (www.bombo.com) signed on to do a Documentary/Pilot. They documented our 1st season in the ABA, and it is still in there catalog of projects.
Signed Shaheen Holloway, Seton Hall University to be the teams 1st and starting point guard.
Signed Rasheed Sparks from Newark, NJ as star player
Participated in the playoffs
Sent 6 players overseas to continue their professional careers
