JERSEY EXPRESSIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE COST?
There is a $25.00 registration fee at the door. You may pre-register for $20.00 if payment is received by October 5, 2007. All registration fees must be paid by cash or money order only.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age prior to auditioning
- Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D.
- Head Shot
- Registration Fee
- Application and Waiver
- Driver's License
WHAT ARE YOUR HEIGHT AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS?
There are no height or weight requirements. Applicants should be in top physical condition.
WHAT WILL THE JUDGES LOOK FOR AT THE AUDITION?
Judges will look at your appearance, showmanship, dance ability, poise, personality, and speaking ability.
WHAT TYPE OF THINGS WILL I HAVE TO DO FOR AUDITION?
Audition routines will consist of jazz and hip-hop styles.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE INTERVIEW PROCESS?
Be prepared to introduce yourself and provide an brief overview of your background, education, and goals.
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS?
Interested participants are encouraged to be in top physical shape. Physical fitness is a plus! Participants should have knowledge of a variety of dance styles.
HOW SHOULD I FIX MY HAIR AND MAKE-UP?
Your hair and make-up should be complimentary and appropriate for an athletic environment.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR AUDITIONS?
You should wear something that is flattering for you.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT? IS THIS A FULL-TIME JOB?
Dancing for the Jersey Expressions is not a full-time job. During the season, the time commitment may be 12 - 16 hours.
